SO…what do you get by joining us!?
-get 26 weeks of healing, delicious fresh vegetables during the months of April through November plus a bulk share of potatoes, onions, and garlic to enjoy throughout the season.
-make it easy to make healthy food choices by always having fresh veggies on hand! We will pass on years of vegetable devouring knowledge with recipes and cooking tips!
-connect with like minded folks (other co-op members) and build community!
-Create a sustainable financial relationship that helps us buy seeds and pay people on time by paying us in 8 monthly payments. We accept cash, checks, and EBT cards!
-Choose a CSA that serves your needs: a payment plan that splits the cost up over the whole season, smaller shares that are appropriate for 1 to 3 people (depending on your cooking habits), and group drop off location near you (more convenient than on-farm pick up, less expensive than home delivery).
but, what does it cost?
We provide 26 weeks of veggies and extra potatoes, onions and garlic for 8 payments of 50$. For our EBT folks, we have to deduct from your account week by week.
What veggies are coming into your box…
Spring into early Summer (April through June)
onions! (green and then sweet bulb!)
Early Summer into Midsummer (June through first half of August)
Heirloom paste tomatoes
Heirloom Sweet peppers
Watermelon (three types!)
Tulsi – Holy Basil (super herb – adaptogen – cure-all delicious culinary or medicinal)
Harvesting in the Fall:
We love people, and we love soil, and we love finding ways to meet our needs that are fun and sustainable. We are seeking relationships with the people who eat the food we work to grow that honor our deep awesomeness and individuality and ability to transform our community into whatever we want it to be.
WE GOT THE MACHINE + vouchers! We can to on-farm and off-farm sales! Contact us if you are interested!
Do you want to be able to accept EBT cards for your direct marketing agricultural business? Know a farm business that might like to?
I laid out the process I went through in this document. In it I compiled all the phone numbers and links to important pages you need to apply to the USDA and get hooked up with the contractors that run the machines.
